The Social Republic of Calandia, more commonly known as Calandia, was a micronation with a unitary military dictatorship government. It was founded on July 10, 2020 by it's first Supreme Leader, Vincent I., as a nation that promotes order and unity of all people. The nation had territory in both real life and online, specifically in the sandbox game Minecraft. The government was based off of Fascist Italy under Benito Mussolini.

History

The Social Republic of Calandia was founded on July 10, 2020 by Vincent I. as mostly a satirical nation. It's virtual territory in Minecraft was created on July 13, 2020 and over the course of the next few days, two villages were annexed and some buildings were constructed. However, activity in the nation besides some activity on Minecraft was very limited. On July 27, 2020, Calandia was dissolved and reformed into the Empire of Costella.
