Cabinet of Benjastan

The Cabinet of Benjastan is the group that forms the executive branch of the Government of Benjastan. President of Benjastan serves as head of the cabinet. Each cabinet member (known as "Secretaries") oversees a department of the Benjastanian national govenrment.

Confirmation Process

The President and Vice President are appointed to their positions by direct election, while Cabinet Secretaries are appointed by the President, and must be approved by a simple majority in the People's National Congress. Cabinet Secretaries can be subject to a recall vote, in the event that at least 25% of Benjastanian citizens sign a petition requesting the vote.
