A state of emergency was declared in the Second American Empire on 8 December 2020 due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The first American citizens were vaccinated against the virus on 28 January 2021. However, America's initial case was reported shortly afterwards on 2 February 2021. At present, there has been only one confirmed case, at least six citizens have received their first dose of the vaccine from macronational distributors, and the state of emergency is ongoing.
