The Battle of Daen House was the first major conflict between the Worrellian Government and the American Loyalists lead by former Chancellor of Springton, Daen Guut. It took play on 7 May 2021 starting at 12:06 EST and Ending 2 and a half hours later at about 14:30 EST. It was the first major test of the fighting cability of the Federal Department of Investigation and Intelligence Agency (F.D.I.I.A.) and first major uprising against the Republic of Worrell.
Prelude
The economy of Worrell was on a decline at the time of the battle and needed exports, and Daen House was a site of a small chicken farm with eggs. Directly before the battle, negotiations were trying to be held to work out a Deal between Daen Guut and the Worrell Food Company. The negotiations failed and Daen Guut declared his allegiance to the United States of America. Soon the government got involved, and Matthew Cunningham along with Liam MacKenzie went to Daen House to retake control of the territory.
Battle
The battle started at 12:06 EST after negotiations failed, with the initial fighting being only Daen himself. After 10 minutes of fighting, Daen retreated East behind Daen House to use a fortified metal fence as a defensive line against the F.D.I.I.A. Agents. After 1 hour of fighting a mostly defensive battle, Daen rallied more people to his side, including a Sam Guut, which bolstered the rebel forces long enough to keep Worrell at bay.
By 14:00, the battle started to turn in favour of Worrell after the rebels lost control of the metal fence in the east, forcing them to fall back onto the Daen House porch, where they made a final stand before retreating inside of Daen House by 14:20. Minor fighting continued inside of the House until around 14:30 when the House was fully barricaded and too well defended to be stormed.
Aftermath
The battle resulted in the re-capturing of all the territory surrounding Daen House, with the Rebels left only controlling the House itself. The battle resulted in 1 Injury on the Rebel side.
