Early life

Bamse was born as Stormgatans Stormvind on the 5th of May 2021 as a result of an accidental pregnancy. Shortly after he was born the then Chief Hamster, Teddy, died on the 14th of May and the search for a new hamster suitable for the office began. Bamse was quickly determined to be the best candidate and was adopted on the 2nd of June. 2 days later on the 4th he was inaugurated as Hamsterlands 3rd Chief Hamster and given the new name Bamse.

Chief Hamster

As Chief Hamster Bamse oversaw a period of stability in Hamsterland and overall economic growth. His most important decisions included the 2022 renovations of Government House that forced the Government to operate from the Residence for a few weeks. He also was responsible for restoration work on the Chief Hamster Cemetery and refurbishment of the Chief Hamsters Cage which included the purchase of many new items guaranteeing his legacy will live on after his death. The later part of his reign saw the cost of living crisis reaching Hamsterland and disputes breaking out within the Triumvirate Government on how to combat the crisis. These disputes reached their height during the 2023 election but were still ongoing by the time of his death despite his best efforts to keep the government unified. The probably most notable event during his tenure was the creation of the office of Deputy Chief Hamster in February of 2023. This office was created to ensure a that there always would be someone ready to assume the office of Chief Hamster upon their death and prevent vacancies.

On the 2nd of August 2023 Bamse started to get sick. He however kept preforming his duties as normal until the 9th of August when the he made Deputy Chief Hamster Dolly acting head of state after his health worsened. On the evening of the 11th of August Bamse was found dead inside of his house.
