National Honours of Hamsterland

The National Honours of Hamsterland are a series of decorations, titles and medals awarded by Hamsterland to individuals that have contributed to the country. The 3 categories these honours are divided into Orders of Chivalry, Military Medals and Civil Medals each with different requierments and benefits. As head of state, the Chief Hamster is responsible for handing out these honours and appointing members to the State Orders. The State Orders are not part of this system and are the personal orders of the Chief Hamster. Each Chief Hamster has traditionally been given their own State Order to appoint Knights too during their lifetime. After the death of the Orders founder it becomes dormant but new Chief Hamsters can appoint honorary members to these dormant orders.
