Ashon is the oldest and largest ceremonial county in the Kingdom of Almoa. It is also seen as the capital province as it is the home of the capital city of Almoa - Stigo.
History
Ashon is the oldest county in Almoa. It was created on 12 April 2023.
Administration
County Government
As a ceremonial county, Ashon is headed by a Lord Lieutenant who is the ceremonial officer leading the county and the ceremonial county council. They nominate a High Sheriff, who is the ceremonial head of law enforcement in the county.
National Government
The county has two county-level constituencies represented in the House of Commons. They are called Upper Ashon and Lower Ashon. Its members of parliament are elected by first past the post.
