The Armed Forces of the Azorean Republic (sometimes noted as the Armed Forces of Azore) are the organisations responsible for the defence of the Azorean Republic.

History
The Armed Forces where established on the 19th of February 2022 as part of the foundation of the Azorean Republic.
Leadership
Commander in Chief
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is the highest ranking commander over the Armed Forces and is a position undertaken by the President of Azore. The commander holds supreme authority over the Armed Forces but tends to allow this power to be used by the Defence Board.
Defence Board
The defence board is the leadership body of the Armed Forces. It is staffed by the Chief of Defence Staff, Branch Chiefs of Staff and other senior defence personnel. The defence board make key decision with regards to the Armed Forces and help the government implement defence policy.
Personnel
Officers
Commissioned Officers in Azore make up the bulk of the leadership of each branch. Upon successful completion of training Officers receive a commission from the President or the Senate.
