Basileioupoli, (ελληνικά: Βασιλειούπολη) is the only city in the Theme of Geleontida and is located at the Archontia of Galata. Is the capital of the Theme and it is the seat of the Governor of Geleontida. The old name of the city was Argadoupoli but it was changed to Basileioupoli on 26 March 2023 to honor the Pansebaste Vasiliki after her sudden death on 25 March of the same year.
