The Arcadian Atheists were an atheistic organization and political party in the Federal Republic of Arcadia. The group was started by Luci, who originally created the Arcadian Atheists as a political party in Arcadia. The party never gained any representation, as on May 31, 2022, after president Terry McKeen banned Luci from the Arcadian Discord server and the party lost the 3+ member requirement for a political party to be valid.

History

Background

The Zepranan Civil Conflict

The Zepranan Civil Conflict was a conflict between multiple political sects of the Zepranan government due to corruption and power grabs. The movement had several factions, and one of them was the Zeprana Femboy Liberation Movement, started by Luci. Following the collapse of the McKeen government in Zeprana, McKeen himself created the Federal Republic of Arcadia as a successor state. Luci was initially banned from becoming a citizen, as McKeen in part blamed him for the overthrow of his government. After talks, McKeen was convinced to allow Luci to join the nation, and from there Luci attempted to get into the Arcadian government, creating a political party.

Creation

The Arcadian Atheists were created on May 30, 2022, as a political party in the newly formed Federal Republic of Arcadia. Luci, being the leader of the Satanic Social Democrats in Faltree, was prohibited from creating a Satanic political party in Arcadia by McKeen. In response to this, Luci, as a non-theistic Satanist, created the Arcadian Atheists party. The party reached two members with Bibo Tektek joining the same day.

Ideology

The Arcadian Atheists believed in establishing a secular state within the Federal Republic of Arcadia, due to the Christian nationalism in Arcadia's predessessor, Zeprana, and due to the negative influence religion had on McKeen.
