The Principality of Albalonga, commonly known as Albalonga (/ˈAlbalonga/ Al-bah-lon-gah) is a micronation located in Italy. It has been estabilished in 2021.
Etymology
The name Albalonga comes from Latin and means:
- Alba = White
- Longa = Long
These two words refer to "Ascanius", following the Myth, he was the founder of "Alba Longa", a Latin settlement near Mons Albanus.
Origin of the Flag
The Flag was inspired by the flag ot the Holy See and it was changed and coloured with colours that comes from British East African colonies. The Lion has been adopted as it's the national animal.
On 20 March 2023, the Coat of Arms was changed, adopting the current one.

History
Foundation (2021)
During the month of February 2021, Manuel Maria I° di Ledilia decided to refound calling back previous citizens from Principality of Ledilia's remainants, attempting another micronational project. Project was instantly halted without further success.
