Air Horizon is the flag-carrying airline of the Horizon Islands. It is partially owned by the Horizon Islands government, the South Paneran government, and private investors.
History
The airline was founded in 2023, following the end of the Paneran Civil War. The South Paneran government wanted to expand routes out of Blanka International Airport, and didn't have the resources to fly directly from Blanka, so they funded the Horizonese government to wet lease an aircraft from Swiss International airlines, for flights to connect the Horizon islands to underserved, popular cities from Horizon International Airport. The airline signed papers to wet-lease an Airbus A340-300 from Swiss international, and the first flight was a 1 stop flight from Horizon-Ryu City-Zurich, and then back again. The President of both South Panera and the Horizon islands was signed as CEO the minute the flight touched down in Zurich.

A flight schedule from late March 2023 shows that 4 days a week there was a flight from Horizon-Ryu City-Zurich, 2 days there was a short flight from Horizon-Port Moresby, And 1 day there was a flight from Horizon-Osaka-Ontario (California). The Airline's single A340-300 has an all Swiss Airlines crew and wears the swiss livery. It reports on flight trackers and booking websites as operated by Air Horizon with a horizon logo.
