The 2026 Micronations World Cup, It is the fifth edition under the format for micronations and the eleventh in the line of continuity in the FIIFA Universe, this is the first time that a micronation of Mexican origin will organize this competition which will be in charge of the United Socialist States of Pérsico.

Headquarters Selection

Pérsico was selected by FIIFA itself after it was announced that the edition organized in 2016 was declared invalid after the unification of FISA and FIIFA, it will be the second time that a Micronations World Cup will be played with 32 teams. Pérsico officially announced that the venues will be the same as in 2016 since they are the only stadiums that meet the requirements of FIIFA.

The new format & the Draw

The format of the new tournament will be made up of 32 Micronations that will be classified automatically through the so-called FIIFA World Ranking. That is, the first 32 micronations of 35 current members will be in Pérsico 2026, the draw will be held on December 8, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. (Mexico City time), the POT would be like this:

  • POT 1: Seed heads
  • POT 2: Best from 9 to 16
  • POT 3: Best from 17 to 24
  • POT 4: Best from 25 to 32
