The 2022 Parliament Elections in Istria are going to take place on the 10th of May 2022 and are going to decide the future gouvernment. A possible gouvernmental alliance has formed between the Democratic Party and the Nationalist-Socialist-People's Movement that are now working toghther to form a gouvernmental alliance to rule the country.
Retired Parties
The San Marino Party
The San Marino Party initiated a retirement order that was sent to the Central Electoral Bureau in 2020 with a special letter to the President informing him about the retirement of the party. The Central Electoral Bureau rejected the retirement order of the San Marino Party, but accepted it on the election prepareing day of April 4, 2022.
The Libertian Party
The Libertian Party has been a quite inactive party in the parliament with less then 20 bill proposals in 4 years, thus the Central Electoral Bureau, at the proposal of the Electoral Committee of the Parliament, refused the initiative to be again candidate for the 2022 elections.
Candidates
The primary parties are now the Social-Democrat Alliance, and the Save the Istrians Union, that are the majoritary parties, these haveing the control of the Senate for now. The Prime-Minister is also going to be changed as the protocol of the Social-Democrat Alliance is requireing that the Prime Minister to be changed and be a different persone then the Leader of the party. The Gouvernmental Cabinet will also going to see changes as the present form will be scraped for another cabinet proposed by the Social Democrat Alliance, if they win. In the case the Save the Istrians Union win the election they stated they are going to reform the gouvernment and bring to the cabinet informed specialists in the domains required.
Possible winers and promises
Social-Democrat Alliance
The Social-Democrat Alliance has a prepared campaign protocol that regulates all the issues that can aquire dureing and after the elections. Toghether they will lead the country but separate will lead the parliament as the protocol says. The Nationalist-Socialist part of the Alliance will lead the Commisions of Work, Education and Transport, and the Democratic part of the Alliance will lead the rest of the Commissions. The President will be a Social-Democrat member of the Alliance, and the Vice-Presidents Social and Democrat.
Save the Istrians Union
The concerns of the SIU will be the social issues that appeared in the last years of the last PETCU II gouvernment. The SIU commitment will be to reform the economy and adapt it to a post pandemic regeneration and make it autosustenable again.
