Preventive measures

On 28 February, the county of Chornozemlja was placed on lockdown by its count, amid an increase in US community-spread cases.

On the day of the first confirmed case, several territories, including Ladoha, Alkland, and Khattrask, were placed under quarantine, before it was announced that the borders of the entire country were closed. Citizens were recommended to stay home in the wake of the outbreak.

The government of Montescano also has purchased a large supply of face masks, which will arrive later in March. They will be available for use among the public via shipment. On 12 March the face masks arrived in Obolensk, and went up for sale straight after receiving them. On 17 March the sale of medicine was forbidden on the territory of Montescano, the government confiscating all of it to prepare for the upcoming crisis.
