Zealandian passports are issued to citizens of Zealandia for the purpose of international travel. Besides serving as proof of Zealandian citizenship, they facilitate the process of securing assistance from Zealandian consular officials abroad. The passports are issued by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and applications are filed at either a People's Militia unit which has a passport office or online. It is possible for a Zealandian citizen to hold two valid passports at the same time if it is needed for work or "another special reasons" The validity time of an additional passport is "as long as the necessity applies", but never longer than the ordinary passport.

Physical appearance and data contained

The Zealandian passports issued since 2011 are blue, with the words Zealandia - Zeelandien) inscribed at the top of the front cover with the word Passport at the bottom of the cover.

Passport note

Passports contain a note from the issuing state that is addressed to the authorities of all other states, identifying the bearer as a citizen of that state and requesting that he or she be allowed to pass and be treated according to international norms. The note inside Zealandian passports states:
The Council of State of the Commonwealth of Zealandia requests all whom it may concern to allow the holder to pass without delay or hindrance and in case of need to give all lawful assistance and protection.
