Zakinesia, officially the Grand Duchy of Zakinesia, is a Philippine micronation based in Batangas, with territories around the Philippines. The country operates as a semi-constitutional monarchy under an authoritarian governance, with Grand Duke Zakia Jacob serving as the current monarch and Den Cenjie Sombrano as the current prime minister. San Sebastian City, located in the Mainland, serves as the country's capital and largest city.
The micronation was founded by the current Grand Duke, Zakia Jacob, on October 25, 2023. While Zakinesia is a protectorate of the Kingdom of Arlandica, it still maintains its independence. It is the successor state of the ma-i dynasty While not impressive it is 34th place in the micronational democracy index with a 3.0 and 14th in CGSC with 4.4.
History
Pre-Zakinesia
Before Zakinesia was born it was once a land ruled by the ma-i dynasty and it is its successor state. But the ma-i dynasty was attacked by spain but in the spanish american war the philippine islands was incorporated into america. The japanese then invaded the Philippines in WW2 but it gained independence in 1946.
Independence
Zakinesia known as zakiland before gained independence in october 25 2023. It started expanding throughout the philippine islands. It then contacted other philippine micronations.
EFL rebellion
During october 27 a rebel group called EFL rebelled against the zakiland government but on november 10 the efl group failed.
GOTL invasion
On november 12 a nation called GOTL revolted and took over the whole zakiland. All of zakiland's colonies were temporarily dissolved. Zakiland became a puppet state of GOTL called 2nd zakiland republic.
Zakiland liberation
On november 15 zakiland rebelled against GOTL and liberated itself to become zakiland again.
Chipan war
Zakiland annexed some land in the south of its mainland and established mendoza city. Little did it know there was a country inhabiting that part called chipan. The war lasted 3 days in a zakilandian victory.
Christmas war
During the christmas party of our monarch the lictopian republic, zakiland's ally betrayed it and attacked it. Zakiland won and took its territory in catanduanes.
Unification
A country called Tropicas united with Zakiland because zakiland was struggling after the christmas war. Zakiland and Tropicas then made Zakinesia.
Annexation
During january 11 zakinesia was in turmoil so arlandica took advantage of it and annexed it. Zakinsia got independence at january 15. On January 25 Zakinesia became a protectorate of Arlandica but is still independent.
Cold war
Zakinesia's neighbor country Kakiland has declared cold war due to tensions between both sides. Zakinesia then banned cakilandians from entering any part of Zakinesia.
Martial law
Zakinesia enacted its basic law for its country. Because of instability Zakinesia declared martial law to remove all rebellions in the country.
Republican rebels
On the 5th of March republican rebels appeared in lasalia and the revolt lasted for 2 hours with the zakinesian victory the rebel group still exists but they are hiding.
The fall of the rebels
On 19th of March 2024, The republican rebels fell and Zakinesia's internal conflict ended.
Today
Zakinesia is a high economic country and a good place to live in. Despite its dark past Zakinesia is ready to move on.
Territory
Mainland Zakinesia is an enclave located in Lipa, Batangas, Philippines. It comprises San Sebastian City and some islands in sothern batangas. San sebastian city serves as the capital of Zakinesia. The country also claims at least 15 pieces of land across the Philippines and antarctica. It has 5 provinces (zakinesia, lasalia, poblacion, tropicana, and de guapo) and 3 crown colonies (trinidad, maison, hasbinia
Politics and government
The government of Zakinesia is an absolute monarchy consisting of a Grand Duke and a prime minister. However, at the moment. The executive department is vested in the monarch. The legislative department is vested in the parliament and the judicial department is vested in the supreme court.
The current Grand Duke is Zakia Jacob Precioso, while the current prime minister is Giorgio Alexander. Its election is every 1 month and re-election is allowed. It is an authoritarian country not allowing anyone to rebel or protest against the government.
