The Wamongian Economic Crisis began on 5 May 2021 after the GDP per capita of the nation dropped from the already miserable $17 per capita to only $13. The nation's economy has been stagnant and has not had any growth since 5 April 2021, which has led to the not being prosperous. This led to President Harold Duighan declaring a state of emergency and assuming practically dictatorial powers so he can fix these ailments.
Background
The Wamongian economy itself had been having problems since 5 April, since there was no way of it to make money at the time. Thus, it was left stagnant.
History
Beginning of the Crisis
The crisis began on 5 May 2021 after the GDP per capita in the country collapsed to only $13 compared to the former $17. This was due to the fact that the population went from 7 to 9 citizens.
Worsening of the crisis
The crisis began becoming even worse when the population went up even more, and the per capita GDP went all the way down to only $6.
