The Associated Community of Vardø Town Islands is a small set of islands just off the coast of the Varanger Peninsula which is claimed by Easway as a free governing area in joint-sovereignty between the Common Union of Easway's Pomors Frontier commonwealth and Norway's Finnmark county. Centred on the largest island Vardø which has an area of 1.19-square-kilometre (290-acre), it has a 2017 population of 1,875.

Vardø's recorded history goes back to the 12th century, whereby it was inhabited by groups from both Norway and Novgorod, including the then nomadic Easwegians. It expanded to become a major hub for trade between Norwegians, Finnic tribes, the Easwegians and the Pomors. Most notably it became a major hub of the Pomors on their trade routes, with it being known to this day as the Pomors capital. Due to this fact, it was agreed between the Norwegian, Pomors & Easwegian entities that it would become a market town 'Kjøpstad', chartered on 17 July 1789. Easway passed a constitutional amendment through referendum on 17 July 2023 which states that the Associated Community of Vardø Town Islands shall be a free governing area in condominium status between Easway and Norway, although it currently remains under the full jurisdiction of Norway.
