The United States of Maleyi, more commonly known as U.S.M or Maleyi, is a micronation in Europe which was formed in 31 December 2018 by a group of local explorers who wanted to know more about the region. The United States of Maleyi is divided by divisions called States which govern over the local people.

The United States of Maleyi is ruled by an president which has absolute power over its citizens, this form of Authoritarian Democracy has its roots in Eastern European Orthodox-ism.Every 1 year there is an election which will decide the next president.

The United States of Maleyi has very good relations with all Orthodox micronations and macronations, the relations between Romania (macronation) and The United States of Maleyi (micronation) are very strong and positive. The United States of Maleyi had an incident with the neighboring Romani Community in the past 2 years, tensions are calming down.

Etymology

The name Maleyi, is a derivation of the local name "Maleia" or "Malea", in the Maleyi Dialect the word "Maleia" and "Malea" mean "far away place" or "forgotten land".

History

The Maleyi-Romani Crisis 2020-2022, was a scramble for the land, many rebellions and tensions occurred in that period, in late 2022 tensions seem to calm down. In general The U.S.M ( The United States of Maleyi ) have never had military or ethnic disputes.

Politics and government

The President has absolute power when it is about the ruling aspect of the micronation, the legislature and the upper house can only apply laws that are approved by the president and once a law is approved by the president they can apply it as they want it (they meaning the legislature and upper house). The U.S.M is an Authoritarian Democracy with Theocratic Influences.

Law and order

Order in The United States of Maleyi is put to practice by the National Guard's, they are special units that have the duty to protect the settlement they were assigned to protect. Another branch of the National Guard's is the Falx, they are units that enforce the law in the settlements they were assigned to enforce the law.

Foreign relations

The United States of Maleyi has currently no foreign relations with other micronations.

Military

Military service is mandatory in The U.S.M, at the age of 15. Weaponry: Basic Medieval Weapons Every single militant has the obligation to know how to swordfight in order to protect The United States of Maleyi.

Economy

The economic power of The U.S.M comes from a pretty limited source of elements, like coal, wood(birch) and clay. The U.S.M is not a economical powerhouse when it comes to precious metals, gold and silver is rarely found.

Hunting Culture: -Big Game- Every time someone in The U.S.M gets a catch it is good that you bring the animal a young branch so his soul will grow away as that tree. -Small Game- Every time someone in The U.S.M gets a catch is good that you say a small prayer to God about why did you do that kill. Unique Holidays: 1 April - First Forest Heart Opening( it is said that the forest opens its heart in that day for the first time that year) 1 August - Second Forest Heart Opening ( it is said this is the last time the forest will open its heart ) 1 December - Ural Festival ( it is said that in this day its the best time to visit a nearby mountain ) 31 December - Maleian New Year.
