The Unitary State of Annexia, more commonly known as Annexia (Pronounced A-nek-sia) , is a self-declared micronation consisting of the territories and states of The Aleutian Federation and The Democratic Republic of Baliga.
It was created (de-facto) on 12 March 2022, The country is led by the Co-Premiers, Michael Campbell (Chancellor of Aleutia and General Secretary of The National Democratic Front) and Benjamin of Baliga (President of Baliga)
The state has a central government (uniting the two states) however, only consisting of the Co-Premiers and a few ministers, Aleutia and Baliga are fully autonomous states, with their own laws, constitutions and governments.
Titania Smith is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Unitary State of Annexia, and handles outside relations.
The nation is mostly symbolic, with no real power (This is handed to the sub-states, Aleutia and Baliga). It operates for the purpose of allowing Aleutia and Baliga to prosper and share success together.
Annexia has no ideology, elections or political parties. Instead it is a hypothetical state that unites her sub-states under one banner.
Her sub-states function as near to sovereign countries of their own, similar to the countries in the United Kingdom, with their own diplomatic ties, currencies, political ideologies, parties, and system of governments, and they may act on their own with endeavors without consulting the other state.
The main and official language of the country is English (and in both Aleutia and Baliga), however in Aleutia, Russian and Korean are considered to be secondary languages, with their usage varying throughout the country.
The currency of Annexia is not universal, The United States Dollar and Crypto Currencies (Bitcoin, Euthereum and USD coin) are used in The Aleutian Federation.
Annexia uses the dialling codes, +44 (Baliga) and +1-907 (Aleutia). The territories of Aleutia include Kanaga and Tanaga Island in Alaska, whilst the territory of Baliga consists of a room and a garden in the UK.
