"Tu ipse dominus tuus est" (Latin pronunciation: [tˈuːˈɪpsdˈɑːmɪnəstˈuːzˌiːˌɛstˈiː]), translated from Latin as "Thyself is thy master" or "You are your own master", is the national motto of the Republic of Gretigo. The motto was adopted by the Gretigan government on 4 April 2024, replacing "Estando en Unidad y Paz" (Spanish: "Standing in Unity and Peace"). The origins of the motto lie in The Satanic Temple (TST), with the phrase being used under the English translation of "Thyself is thy master" since TST was founded in 2013.
