Thomas Patrick Olson (born 15 November 1998) was the first Chief of Army Staff of the Kingdom of Roanoke, serving in office since the kingdom's foundation on 1 April 2020 until his resignation on 6 January 2021.
Early life
Thomas “Tom” Olson was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, the son of Francis and Ann Olson. He is of Irish descent. Gen. Olson is a life long North Carolinian. Raised in the Church, Olson was baptized in 2014 as a Baptist.
Roanoke
When the Kingdom of Roanoke was established, Olson, a friend of His Majesty’s, joined as a founding member of Roanoke. He was charged with leading the Royal Roanoke Army (RRA) and helped determine the location of present-day Fort Green.
On 6 January 2021, after an argument between His Majesty and several military leaders, Gen. Olsen resigned his position in the military of the Kingdom and renounced his citizenship.
