Themata Asunder is a themata of the Antiquitian Empire located in the Pacific Northwest and consists of Ares Island and Channel Island. Channel Island is the smaller island and the less significant one. It provides nothing more than land to explore or briefly camp on, unlike Ares Island which has thick forest growth and could support a small community. Ares Island is not incredibly important overall, but still retains enough importance that Asunder is somewhat economically valuable. Ares Island was also a newer addition to the empire, and without it, Asunder would only consist of Channel Island. Previously it was considered merging Asunder with another themata.
