The Dominion is a self-declared sovereign state more commonly referred to as a micronation by external observers. The nation is located in the region of Baden-Württemberg in Germany and has overseas territory in the region of Epirus in Greece. The micronation is geographically composed of fields and the residence of the Emperor and the First Secretary. The micronation has 7 residental citizens and 39 global citicens.
The Dominion has declared independence in February 2020 under the name Free Republic of Scameria, and since that the current Emperor is ruling over the country. On the 1 January 2021 the first party was founded, the CDPS which is now the UP.
The country has a small agriculture based economy with fields in Germany and Greece. The country can produce olive oil, flour and other cereal-containing products. The government spends 25-35 euros every month on the micronation, depending on how high the budget was set by the Prime Minister.
History
The Dominion was founded in February 2020 under the name Free Republic of Scameria Scameria has declared independence in February 2020, and since that the current Prime Minister is ruling over the country. On the 1 January 2021 the first party was founded, the CDPS which is now the UP.
The first elections were on the 18th January 2021, and ended with a winning for the SPS (Socialist Party of Scameria). Since this, the party is ruling over Scameria, and they have changed many things: On the 4th February 2021 they introduced the national currency, the Scamerian Dollar (SD). The currency is mostly only used symbolic, because it´s not worth much. So the currency which is used for payments is the Euro. But The SPS isn´t ruling alone, other parties like the CDPS, the NDPS, the YM or the Eco do also have seats in parliament, so they can also bring suggestions into the council. The NDPS is currently under observation by the constitutional protection , because of their ideology, [[fascism]. The constitutional protection of Scameria is currently checking, whether there is a violation of the constitution by the NDPS.
Because of the observation of the NDPS by the constitutional protection, some of the party left and created the LPPS, the Left-populist party of Scameria. They couldn´t take part in the first elections, so they don´t have seats in the parliament, but it is appreciated that the LPPS will get many votes in the next elections.
The Constitution of the Free Republic of Scameria was introduced on the 31 March 2021 and its the basic Constitution of the Nation. The Regions can use their own Constitution, but it must be based on the (Ground) Constitution.
On the 31 Mach 2021, the Free Republic of Scameria and the Empire of Biberach have started diplomatic relations, and created the UOGM Union of German Micronations. The intention behind this was to hold peace between the member states of the UOGM, ad to protect German language and culture. A few hours laters, the Kingdom of Imea also joined the UOGM. The three micronations worked closley together, to create a Discord Server for the Union, which will be released on the 5 April 2021.
On the 1 April 2021 the Kingdom of Imea and the Free Republic of Scameria signed a treaty, which made the Kingdom of Imea a vasall of Scameria, the treaty will be resolved on the 24 December 2021. The treaty was refused by Scameria on the 8 April 2021 after a debate in the parliament. On the 5 April 2021 the government has changed the capital after a debate from Plataria to Schemmerberg.
On the 7 April 2021 the Constitutional Protection has come to the conclusion that the NDPS violates the Constitution of Scameria and was dissolved by the Constitutional Protection on the same day.
The SPS and the UP formed a collation to get the majority of seats in parliament on the 10 April 2021. The two parties want to bring more stability into the parliament with the collation.
The parliament passed a new law on 26 April 2021. Under this law, parties can only enter the parliament if they receive 5% of all votes, if they fail to pass the 5% hurdle, they will only be able to win an observation post. On the 3 June 2021, the Free Republic of Scameria and the Empire of Biberach united and formed the Dominion.
