The Teacup Award is an User generated kudos gifted to MicroWiki users who have demonstrated exemplary efforts to improve the wiki. Such examples include, large amounts of helpful edits, creating much needed articles, helping in cleanup and, helping new users. The award is presented on the recipient's Talk Page and may be gifted by any editor to another. Once an award has been given, it may not be rescinded except by an Admin and only if it is found that the award was given under false pretenses. The Teacup Award is heavily based upon (and serves a similar purpose to) the Barnstars of Wikipedia.

Criteria

For an editor to qualify for a Teacup Award, they must be a registered user, have been on the wiki for at least two weeks and have contributed a minimum of twenty edits within a given thirty day time span. In addition, they should be of good moral character and have contributed (in the mind of the presenter) to the overall well being of the wiki. Teacup Awards may not be given to any user that is presently banned and any banned user who receives an award after ban or had received one prior may have said commendations revoked pending an admin decision.
