The micronation, officially referred to as the State of Yidmahh but more commonly known as Yidmahh, is situated in Central Europe. It came into existence during the 8 Weeks Preparations for the Last Day of the Year holiday within a Jewish sub-branch.

Etymology

The name "Yidmahh" is composed of two parts: "Yid," which signifies Jew or Jewish, and "Mahh," meaning Slav or Slavic. This naming convention was chosen as Yidmahh is located in Slovakia, a Slavic country, while also being a Jewish State akin to the State of Israel.

History

The State of Yidmahh was unofficially established on December 27th, 2023, and formally established on the 28th, coinciding with the planned dissolution of the Shtetl Force and its integration into the Yidmahh Defence Force. This significant event can be also aligned with a holiday known as the Three Day Fast, marking the end of the year.

The begining

It was unofficially established following the SDF's takeover of control over Hátárváros Oblast, signaling the conclusion of the Shtetl Insurgency and the de facto establishment of the State of Yidmahh, occurring four days before the end of the year. This also signifies that Yidmahh has reinitiated negotiations with the State of Lasetia, aiming to secure an alliance or potentially become an Aligned State of Lasetia. The preference leans towards an independent or semi-independent status within the Micronational Community.

Politics and government

Head of state

Head of State in Yidmahh is the elected President, who shares dual authority with the Head of Government, the Prime Minister. Both leaders derive their powers from the Constitution, and the enactment of laws requires the joint approval of both the President and the Prime Minister. The finalized laws are then passed down to the Parliament, also known as the General Assembly.

Head of government

In Yidmahh, the Head of Government is the aforementioned Prime Minister, who shares dual authority with the Head of State, the President. The collaboration of both leaders is essential for any matter to be presented to the General Assembly for voting, as previously mentioned, requiring their joint approval.

Legislature

The General Assembly (Parliament)

The General Assembly serves as the parliamentary legislative branch of the Yidmahh government, in conjunction with the judicial branch overseeing the judicial system. The Prime Minister presides over the GA and holds the responsibility of transmitting laws for voting, provided they have received joint approval from the Heads of State and Government.

The Ministry of Justice

The Ministry of Justice functions as the independent judicial legislative branch of the Yidmahh Government. It operates autonomously from other legislative branches and government authorities, ensuring that external entities cannot interfere with its internal politics and hierarchy.

Law and order

As previously mentioned, the Ministry of Justice in Yidmahh, serving as a legislative branch, operates independently from other legislative branches and government authorities to prevent external interference in its internal politics and hierarchy. The court system follows a three-step process: Step 1 involves processing the case and assigning a date, Step 2 consists of one or more court sessions, and Step 3 concludes the proceedings. This system aims for efficiency to avoid unnecessary delays in the legal process.

Foreign relations

As a neutral nation aligned with Lasetia, Yidmahh is open to mutual recognition throughout the year, with the exception of the four days leading up to the year's end, which are designated as holidays. This diplomatic approach allows for engagement and collaboration with other micronations, fostering positive relationships and cooperation.
