The State of Liberty is a Kaninde state in which the capital of the United Kingdom of Kanindé, Ruthville, is located. The name was an idea of King Felipe I to symbolize freedom so that the state was renamed by Decree on January 12, 2024, changing from New South Canindé to Liberty. Liberty is the state in which the most important decisions were taken and consolidated, such as the Martial Law that is still in force in the Kanindé Empire since the creation of the State until more recent actions such as the reform of the Empire and its renaming, in addition to the change of flag. Liberty became the most populous state in Kanindé after its creation, surpassing the District of Canindé (Canindé D.C), being the most populous state in Kanindé with just over 5 inhabitants (3 fixed).

The nickname of the State of Liberty is Tri-Star State. This nickname comes from a particular comment made by King Felipe I - who commented that Liberty is the "heart of the empire". The state motto is Veni, Vidi, Vici. The phrase comes from Latin and means "I came, I saw and I won" in reference to previous challenges, dating before the founding of the state by the Emperor.

History

The State of Liberty was originally created under the name New South Canindé and is home to the new capital of the Empire of Kanindé, Ruthville, created hastily after the government withdrew from the Guaramiranga Palace for personal reasons.

Name

Its name was chosen to always represent liberty, mainly thanks to the context of the government's retreat to Ruthville. It also has a clear inspiration from Liberty from the Grand Theft Auto game series, which is the Emperor's favorite, which in turn is inspired by New York, a city that the Emperor greatly admires.
