The State of Gerse-Gerseland, more commonly known as Gerse or Gerseland, is a North American micronation currently located in Michigan. It was founded on the 6th of May, 2021. In 2022 around March, The State of Gerse-Gerseland dissolved but eventually on the 17th of June, 2022, Gerse was reformed and is now active again. Gerse as of now primarily operates on Discord but will be spreading and advancing to other social media platforms soon as well as spreading influence in real life. On the 21st of June, 2022 the first official department of the State of Gerse-Gerseland was founded, it is a news agency named GerseNews. It as of now acts as the media and news deliverence service to the Gerse discord server and other platforms.
The State of Gerse-Gerseland is made up of seven administrative regions/cantons, all are quite small; Antarni, Ryanbradt, Treton, Sersnya, Shermenagh, Jacobsen, Otrigonia. Gerse is run by a Prime Minister which is elected by the parliament. The legislators are elected from the population. The Prime MInister serves for life until they either die, resign, or get impeached. Gerse does have a monarchy but no official monarchs yet. The monarchs are mainly ceremonial but they do check the power of the Prime Minister and their Deputy PM. The government has a system of checks and balances to keep Gerse from becoming a tyranny, in which Gerse has a supreme court.
The State of Gerse-Gerseland has yet to decide if it wants to actually declare independence, that is currently being debated with its relatively low population and low power. Gerse is currently in a state of union with another micronation called The Unitary Country of Insolesia. In which Gerse and Insolesia formed the Union of Gersec-Insolesia. The union government is ontop of both micronations so both micronations still exist in their own way. Gerse does not accept alliance requests as of now, but is willing to ally through the government of the Union.
History
Gerse was founded on the 6th of May, 2021. In 2022 around March, The State of Gerse-Gerseland dissolved but eventually on the 18th of June, 2022, Gerse was reformed and is now active again. Before then Gerse was inactive and dis-organized and did not even have a functioning constitution. On the 21st of June, 2022 the first official department of the State of Gerse-Gerseland was founded, it is a news agency named GerseNews. It as of now acts as the media and news deliverence service to the Gerse discord server and other platforms. On the 21st of June, 2022, Zürich Corporation (A as-of-now fictional enterprise which sells primarily stuff to the State of Gerse-Gerseland) partnered with the State of Gerse-Gerseland with five agreement terms. The agreement terms would let Gerse to buy stuff from Zürich Corporation as a discounted price to help Gerse.
Politics and Government

The founder of Gerse is the current Prime Minister and created the Enim Gerse political party in which the founder is the President of the party. The Prime Minister always has a Cabinet of Ministers which act as advisors and the Prime Minister and is the Minister of every government ministry plus anyone the Prime Minister wants on it, but is not allowed to get rid of the Ministers from the cabinet.

Law and Order
The Military is so small that is acts as the gendermarie force which polices and secures Gerse from threats internal and external. Everyone when arrested has the right to trial by jury and cannot be tried for the same case twice. Everyone also has the right to an attorney when in court if they choose one. No one can get sentenced for no reason and there must be a reasonable punishment to do with what they committed.

Geography and Climate
Gerse is located in the Lower Peninsula in the Grand River Watershed within Michigan. The Geography consists of flat forests and contains many swamps and lakes. The Climate consists of Hot and decently wet summers, with cold autumn and cold winters. The spring is wet and warm. There is also the Grand River in which Gerse is currently located near as well as being located near Lake Michigan.
Culture and Media
The Gerse culture values hard work and to try your hardest as well as being nice like most cultures. The primary language of Gerse is English and the secondary languages of Gerse are Spanish and Insoloseic. The Primary religion is christianity. Our traditions mostly stem off of basic traditions of Americans like Christmas and Halloween and Easter. The general culture of Gerse is full of nice and hospitable people.
The Primary media service for Gerse is GerseNews and currently works in the official discord server for Gerse and other platforms Gerse inhabits. It was founded by the state as an official department on the 21st of June, 2022. It shares the news of Gerse and other miconational and political news. Gerse does not have a state telivision service yet though. If it did create one it would be based on YouTube.
