The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, more commonly know as the Soviet Union, is a Government-in-exile micronation founded on 16 January 2019.
History
Upon reading the history of the fall of the Soviet Union, Comrade Brown and Comrade Ross were surprised to read that the so-called dissolution of the Union was illegal under Soviet Law, as the Soviet of Republics that attempted to declare the end of the Soviet Union had no constitutional ability to do this action. President Gorbachev also had no right to declare his position extinct under the Soviet constitution.
Reconstitution
Following this revelation, Comrade Brown and Comrade Ross declared the existence of the State Committee on the State of Emergency of The Soviet Union, also know as the SCSESU, with Comrade Brown as the new chairman of the committee. Comrade Ross proposed a new constitution on 17 January 2019 and was approved and enacted by Comrade Brown on 25 January 2019. Following the approval of the new constitution, the SCSESU proclaimed Comrade Brown as the new General Secretary of Communist Party of The Soviet Union. Comrade Ross was also appointed Undersecretary of The Communist Party of The Soviet Union in the same document.
Ideology
The reconstituted Communist Party considers itself in direct continuity with the party of old; It holds steadfast to the original ideals of Orthodox Marxist-Leninism and, as a result, unequivocally rejects the reforms of Mikhail Gorbachev. The party greatly commends the actions of the State Committee on the State of Emergency in the 1991 Soviet coup d'état attempt. Comrade Brown has also personally advocated a position closer towards the ideals of Stalinism, yet the party's offical position remains in favor of the destalinizing reforms of Nikita Khrushchev.
Foreign relations
The Soviet Union currently does not have any foreign relations with any micronations.
