The South-Western Republic, also known as the S.W.R, is a self-declared country based in southern England. The country currently has a population of 25 registered citizens including the Emperor of the Land, and excluding any pending applications.
History
Early History and Founding
Formed in July 2022, The Isle of Marn was founded. The land was located at an un-used canal at Jetty Marsh in Newton Abbot, Devon. The land was approximately 3 meters by 1 meter and consisted of algae, grit and mud, with also approximately 5 meters away from the isle was an old bike tire completely covered in algae and home to a few frogs. To be on the land required a pair of Wellington Boots and a stick to monitor the shallow and the deep parts of the surrounding water. The first leader named Supreme Leader was sworn into power on the date of discovery.

The Great Land Floods:
On an undisclosed date in July while the Supreme leader and a citizen were on the land, A rise in water level was noted as the two rivers that ran beside it were at a faster and higher flow rate than usual and the ground was more moist and sunk down a lot further than the national average, However, it was not declared an emergency at that time since the solution of placing rocks around the water may block it off a little and it would ease off due to the fair weather at that time.
An hour later, the water rose about 5 centimeters, slightly covering 60% of the land, The supreme leader declaired this as a 'approaching threat if not dealt with' and continued to place stones around the water which blocked it off temporarily.
30 minutes later, the water rose, touching the bottom of the ladder to the canal, and the supreme leader ordered an emergency evacuation from the isle. The Leader classed this stage as 'potentially wet feet'. However, the water rose that day to a height of 30 cemtimetres, completely submerging half of the ladder and a high speed runway of water running through the canal, This was the highest it had been since the isle was declaired.
After this incident, it was later discovered that the land can sometimes 'completely disappear' due to the water rising and falling and can come up to a height that will endanger lives that cannot swim. The land was not abandoned but it is quite apparent that residents could only stay on this land for a short amount of time.
This island remains territory of the S.W.R when at least 5 centimes of it is present above water.
The Race for Old Teign:
On the first of august, A large piece of land was discovered that no other country owned or declaired as a nation. The Supreme leader decided to go to the land to claim it as territory. However, areas near there have been disputed between the Nation and other surroundings.
Following this claim of land, the leader decided to run these islands under one nation, The South-Western Republic.
Sandlands
Sandlands is a gift from a friend to the Supreme Leader for founding the SWR. The Sandlands consists of a small rock about 20 millimeters and is the smallest territory owned operated under a nation. The country was placed in the Jetty Marsh Canal and can be seen when the water is very shallow. The main attraction is a small smiley face drawn on with white sharpie.

Civil Tuesday Agreement
Following the colonizing of the Isle of Marn and Old Teign, A civilian wanted to be the supreme leader for the nation and plotted against the current leader. Many policies the civilian wanted imposed were seen as 'stupid' or 'irrational'. when the SWR found out about this, a punishment was needed since this risked the basic foundations of the nation. They came to an agreement that the small island off the coast of Old Teign will be a temporary area for the civilian to be while further laws were being added to the nation. The sentence would be 15 minutes and this would be the basics of the Civil Tuesday agreement.
Any crime done in the nation would be punishable by a fee or by being sent to the Rei island for between 5 and 40 minutes, since the island wasn't part of the SWR. However, since it is technically occupied by the criminals from SWR, the island is under temporary control.
Only 2 people have been to the Rei island (excluding the sailor), once for the above and another for spraying Pepsi everywhere, only serving 5 minutes.
The Great Capture of '22
On the 22nd of August 2022, The Supreme Leader decided to invade and colonize nearby lands to the current territories. Most were successful attempts and currently are territories of the S.W.R.
Battle For Birmana:
At 11 A.M, The Supreme leader launched a attack to the land just further ahead of the The Isle Of Marn, The ground was very 'weak and crubbly' on the Isle of Marn but the army of 5 proceeded. Later on, further ahead on Marn, Two men got stuck in mud and water started rising, the attack was cancelled and the two men were rescued. At a later date, the island was successfully claimed. One of the army-men named it 'Birmana' and it has remained for now.
North Tick War:
During the Colonization of North Tick, A group of rebels claimed independance from the S.W.R, and if we rejected it, A war would occur. S.W.R Rejected the claim, Launching a war between The rebels and S.W.R. The War Lasted an hour, And was won by the SWR by the rebels waving a white flag. The Result of this was the majority of North Tick goes to the Republic while a small area named Sania is owned by the rebels, however it is seen as territory of the S.W.R and the SWR government 'looks over' Sania's ruling.

Controversies
The SWR accepts that homosexuality is a real thing and doesn't have any laws prohibiting gay marriage or sexuality, however it does not condone LBGTQ+ parades since it has been described by some civilians as 'too sexual' and 'sex is too open, we don't want to hear about you do in the bedroom!'. It also regards Transgenderism as 'a mental illness' since suicide rates for Transgender people is very high, however, the supreme leader is very focused on mental health and is willing to allow citizens to seek help if required.
The SWR is run by a non-voted individual which has sparked criticism, the leader responded to these claims stating 'My focus has always been on my people, I don't live a lavish life and have always put my people over anything else. In fact, i am doing more for my country than democratic countries have for their people. I'm guiding this country to the top, Long Live the empire, Long live the SWR!'
Isle of Marn has also been under judgement since the water levels can rise to a 'dangerous level' at some points. The Leader has stated that he 'makes sure the people going to this land know how to swim or at least float in the worst situation that could happen' and 'only allows people on the land if the surface is visible and not under the water'.
During the North Tick War, it has been rumoured that the S.W.R had been unfair with the agreement of land with the rebels and should have gave them more land, however, the Supreme Leader did not respond to this and the map still remains.
South-Western Civil war
On September 1st 2022, The Supreme leader resigned due to 'personal reasons', causing insecurity in the country due to the sudden action and no predecessor for leadership, Sparking the countries splitting into different groups. Sania rebels would split and join various groups, resulting an increase of population.

On September 3rd, Pon-Pon first launched an attack on Z-UNIT towards the north, causing the northern Z-U to surrender to the PP. The only RTSL member decided to join the FPSWR, causing the land to be split. West side was claimed by the FPSWR and West Tick would be fought for by the AR, SCP and FPSWR.
Z-U unsuccessfully tried to invade the FPSWR and no land would be gained or lost. SPC would send a member to Ragu to slowly close into the AR. No one from the AR was there and so it was sucessfully claimed. PP and FPSWR would push into Z-UNIT and causing the group to collapse, and would result in talks to combine the two powers under a single group, resulting in a new group called the SFP or Southern Forward Party. The Members of Z-UNIT were held as prisoners of war, who would later escape to the SCP. This alliance would cause the capture of West Tick and the closing in of the AR. AR send a Telegram message to the SPC, "We are at war, we are enemies, but a larger threat is in the center that will cause the end of our lives." SCP responded, "They are weak, and so are you".

Between September 3rd to 5th, the SCP and SFP close in the AR, however, the AR reclaim Ragu from the the SCP. SFP, after a day, claims all of North Tick, resulting in an emergency Telegram from the AR to the SCP stating, "We must put our differences away, the beast is growing like a cancer. This is not just a threat to I, but you and all of our people apart from the one or two who will brutally beat us down". The SCP did not respond.
On September 4th, the SCP tries to invade the rest of Will's Slither and ends up causing a large majority of SCP's army to be surrounded by the SFP. 3 people were captured and questioned and became prisoners of war. The remaining members of SCP sent back a telegram, "OK, lets form a alliance."
On September 5th, SFP Claims the rest of Will's Slither and starts a journey towards Ragu. Anzi Royalists and the Southern Communists form a alliance called the FAF (Fight Against Fear). During the day, Around 10 people arrive looking for citizenship, however 8 are taken by the SFP and 2 are taken by the FAF. One of these taken in by the SFP would form a malitia with the prisoners and three other immigrants, This would be called the TFP or True Forwardship Party, operating in secret from the SFP.

On the 6th of September, the SFP sent two spies over to both lands that are currently owned by the FAF, the FAF were all at Birmana having an emergency meeting about the war so the SFP invaded Ragu and made progress towards Birmana. The TFP were preparing for war and plotting how to take over, policies, ect. and setting up territory somewhere that they would not find them.
On the 7th of September, The SFP invaded Birmana and forced the FAF to surrender everything they had and accept the new government. All except one did in exchange for acceptence into society. The one that didn't was sent to a undisclosed location and tortured. A bell was rung to state the war was over and that the Southern Forward Party had won. A large celebration was held at North Tick and the new Government was imposed, with a new leader or 'Dux' named Joseph Marrison. New rules were imposed, such as higher tax, banning of free speech and other extreme rules that members of the TFP said were 'turning us into Cogs than keeping us as humans'.
Ruling of the SFP
The SFP ruled over South-Western Republic for around 10 days, and would be described as 'one of the harshest leaderships and darkest times we will ever see'. Dux Marrison thought privacy was not needed and civil rights were restricting human advancements, making him popular in his party but not the general population. The SFP kicked out 7 members since they were seen as 'no longer needed since the war was over', Leaving 5 members in the SFP including Joseph Marrison.
An anonymous poll was held to find out how popular the SFP actually was, 7 civilians thought they were good, 15 thought they were bad and the the remaining refused to answer.

Two days after the SFP came into power, the prisoner from the FAF went missing as was thought to have been freed, causing a search party and interigation to occur. The TFP was not yet known and the prisoner came to them, giving them his story and becoming a soilder. It was reported that TFP members stole a small amount of supplies from the SFP and sabotaged various sectors to have a upper hand in an upcoming war. Further laws were implemented for everyone to be searched daily, causing the FTP to store their goods in a hidden area in a undisclosed area.
Second Civil War
On September 15th, The TFP spread propaganda, causing around 14 people to join their group and causing a second civil war to occur, Will's slither became territory of the TFP. SFP launched a mild attack from north-west, which regained a small amount of territory, however, TFP invaded Kin Islands. SFP prepare to 'squash them like bugs' by launching a full scale attack from the east. Around 5 members were captured by TFP and 2 were injured by the SFP and taken to a medical point. Dux Marrison Ordered all remaining soilders to guard around while he retreated, however he was captured and set on trial, remaining soilders surrendered to the TFP due to 'mistreatment and wanting a peaceful country'.
On September 16th, Trials would be made for Joseph Marrison and two others in his party would be set. Joseph Marrison was found guity of mistreatment, breaking of social standards and 'causing 10 days of fear and darkness due to views and actions that should never ever have happened.' Joseph Marrison was exiled for 10 years, the other two would be exiled for 8 years.
New Ruling
The True Forwardship Party would rename themselves to the United Western Party on September the 17th, and Jason Markony would be sworn in as First Minister of the Republic. F.M would sign in laws and standards called the 'Free Life Agreement', which allowed the general population to keep standard human rights no matter who runs the country, one of these includes the right to possess a bow and arrow and a compulsory course of a martial art of their choosing. Markony would allow the right of a free market and a tax percentage of 8% of income, compared to 35% from the SFP. All soilders would be allocated to a job of their choosing and war criminals would be freed or sent to a rehab center to make sure they 'were fit for society'. The new government was described as a 'Soft Dictatorship', allowing its people to have rights while having a single man in charge.
Climate
Most of the South-Western Republic is grassland, however a majority of SWR is of uneven grounds.
