Song of Artillerymen
2nd Anthem of | Sorrenian Federation |
---|---|
Lyrics | V. Gusev |
Music | Tikhon Khrennikov |
"Song of Artilleryment", also known as "March of Stalin's Artillery" is a soviet wartime composition, created by Tikhon Khrennikov. The song was chosen by the Socialist government of Sorrenia to become it's second national anthem, as they felt a more upbeat anthem for military ceremonies was required, however the original anthem, "The Motherland is Calling!" is still used. The anthem was officially changed to "Highland Cathedral" in order to celebrate Sorrenia's Celtic culture.
Lyrics
Burns in the hearts we love to their native land, We go into battle to the death for the honor of his native country. Glow of the city, covered with smoke, Thunders in gray forest stern god of war.
Chorus:
Gunners, Stalin gave the order! Gunners Fatherland calls us! Of the many thousands of batteries For the tears of our mothers, For our Motherland - fire! Fire!
Know, dear mother, wife, girlfriend find out, To know how far the house and all my family, What beats and burns the enemy our steel blizzard What will we accept in birthmarks edge!
Chorus:
Strikes winning hour hikes will end. But before you go to the homes of their relatives, In honor of our Leader, in honor of our nation We joyful salute to give the winning hour!
Chorus:
Gunners, Stalin gave the order! Gunners Fatherland calls us! Of the many thousands of batteries For the tears of our mothers, For our Motherland - fire! Fire!
