The Socialist Front of Slagerny (popularly known as the Guignavite Front after former Prime Minister Eric Guignard) is a minor socialist party in the Slag Democratic Republic. By far the oldest extant political party in Slagerny, it has existed since 1957 - strongly connected to the international socialist movement and history of socialism in Slagerny the party narrowly avoided a ban after the revolution but at times it remains at odds with the Slagerny Socialist Party. For now, the Socialist Front supports Prime Minister Bund, declaring him a vanguard of socialism.
The party currently holds 14 out of the 500 seats in the Volkskammer and is in a coalition with the ruling Slagerny Socialist Party, as well as every other party in the Volkskammer.
