The Great Kingdom of Sexistan, or Sexistan is a micronation with claims located in the Middle East and North America.
Etymology
The Kingdom has strongly supported the idea of Gender Equality, or Genus Aequalitatum, hence it being written on the old flag. There is a misunderstanding where people mistake the "sex" in Sexistan means Intercourse, although it translates to gender, and the meaning is land of the sexes (genders).
Language
The main languages of the GKS are English and Arabic. The official language is English. Arabic is a secondary language spoken by a majority of Sexistanese citizens. All legal documents, official communications, and diplomatic communications are in English.
Regions
The Great Kingdom of Sexistan has three different regions that are led by viceroys with various roles within government, ceremonial and practical.

Government
The government of the Great Kingdom of Sexistan (GKS) is organized into a system that balances the executive authority of the Crown, legislative deliberation in Parliament, judicial independence in the Crown Courts, and active civic participation by the people. The structure embodies the values of the kingdom: equity, accountability, and the rule of law.
The Crown
Role of the Crown
The Crown, held jointly by the King and Queen, is the supreme authority in Sexistan, serving as both the Heads of State and Government. This dual executive function grants the Crown comprehensive powers that encompass all branches of governance. The King and Queen hold full veto power over legislation, can dissolve Parliament, call for council meetings, and issue royal decrees.
Authority and Powers
- Veto Power: The Crown can veto any decision, decree, or legislative proposal. They also retain the unique authority to override a veto placed on their initial veto, reinforcing their position as the ultimate decision-makers.
- Pardons and Appointments: The Crown holds the exclusive right to grant pardons, appoint officials to any position, and dismiss those officials as deemed necessary.
- Royal Assent: For any bill, amendment, or high-level state decision to take effect, it must receive the Royal Assent, signifying formal approval by the Crown.
- War and Diplomacy: The Crown has the right to declare war, negotiate treaties, and adjourn any military or diplomatic engagement.
- Resolution of Disagreements: If a significant disagreement arises between the King and Queen on state matters, the issue may be put to a democratic vote, highlighting the Crown’s commitment to participatory governance.
The Royal Family
The Royal Family, comprising the extended members of the royal lineage, serves as close advisors and public representatives of the Crown. Royal Family members are entrusted with various ceremonial and diplomatic responsibilities, standing in for the Crown during official engagements and embodying the nation’s values on a global scale. While they do not wield the same executive powers as the King and Queen, they remain influential figures in state governance and public life.

History
Founding and Early Development
The Great Kingdom of Sexistan (GKS) was established by King Ramy on February 12, 2015. Sexistan was built on secular foundations and commitment to freedom of belief and thought. The kingdom grew steadily, welcoming new citizens through community meetings and events that strengthened its internal structure.
Electing the First Princesses
Following a debate over appointing the kingdom's first princesses, King Ramy introduced an election process to fill these roles. Several individuals were elected, marking an early move toward Sexistan's inclusionary governance. HH Princess Yasmeen was elected as the first Elected Princess of Rabbiton.
Diplomatic Appointments and Expansions
On January 30, 2016, the Duke of Rabbiton was appointed Ambassador to South Korea. This event marked an initial step toward international representation, despite his subsequent departure.
The One Day War and Resolution
The “One Day War” occurred when a rebel group briefly captured the King. After a coordinated response by the Secret Service and GWGKS, the King was safely returned, and normal activities resumed with heightened security. The Great Sexistanese Rebellion of 2016 similarly tested the kingdom’s unity. The rebellion ended in reconciliation, solidifying the nation under the Crown.
Rebellions and Good Will Forces Resolution
In March 2016, Queen Noor, and Princess Yasmeen, the kingdom’s first elected princess, formed the Rebel Alliances (RA) to challenge the legitimacy of King Ramy. In response, the King established the Good Will of the Great Kingdom of Sexistan (GWGKS) to counter potential threats. By the end of the day on March 17, Queen Noor had formally renounced the rebellion, reaffirmed loyalty, and was reinstated as queen, along with other former RA members.
Organizational Alliances and Parliamentary Affairs
In June 2016, the GKS joined the Pentagonal Alliances (PA), strengthening its alliances. The same year, Sexistan passed the Illegal Wildlife Trade Act and adopted a new national flag. In October 2017, regular parliamentary meetings and most diplomatic activities were paused, though the kingdom continued to exist.
Development of Sexistan City and Sexton
In 2018, King Ramy established Sexistan City, where the Royal Palace now resides. Officially inaugurated on December 5, 2019, Sexistan City became the administrative center. The nearby city of Sexton was designated as the Education Freezone, housing the University of Sexistan under the leadership of Dean Anirudh.
Annual Celebrations and Appointments
February 12, 2020, marked the 5th annual Sexistan Day, celebrated with four days of festivities. Additional appointments were made within the kingdom's government, including roles in diplomacy, finance, and science and technology, strengthening the kingdom's organizational structure. On December 10, 2020, the Supreme Crown Court was established as the highest judicial authority.
Charter of Rights and Freedoms
On February 12, 2021, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of the Great Kingdom of Sexistan received full Royal Assent, forming the cornerstone of Sexistanese governance.
The Duchy of Sexbrook and Regional Identity
April 2021 saw the introduction of regional flags for the Duchies of Rabbiton, Sexistan City, and the County of Sexton. Goals were set for Sexistan through the Crown Directive SEXISTAN2021-2025, outlining plans for a national currency, charity initiatives, and a central bank. In August, the Duchy of Sexbrook was inaugurated, with Sir Rami appointed Duke.
Foundation of the Principality of Sexville
On May 25, 2022, the Principality of Sexville was founded in Quebec, inspired by King Ramy’s travels. The Prime Minister, Prince Omar, was appointed Prince of Sexville.
2024 Reforms
HRH Princess Anastasia was officially appointed as Princess-Consort, Consort to King Ramy I. She was appointed as the first Minister of Agriculture. The Duchess of Sexbrook, HG Wendy, was appointed on November 7th, 2024. Talks about starting a Ministry of Climate Justice and Mitigation have commenced.
