The Royal Order of Wellingtom is an Wellington national order and the highest honor for merit in the Wellington system of orders, decorations, and medals. It comes first in the order of precedence.
The order was established on the 22nd of August 2019 as a Royal Order as it was created by His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Zebrin I and was given the royal bearing. All members are required to be a citizen of Wellington. In the event that the monarch wishes to appoint someone without citizenship, that individual may be granted an Honorary Citizenship. Members of the Royal Orders may be given the ranks of Member, Officer, Commander, or Grand Commander, and the highest, The Grand Commander of the Order of Wellington, in which only one person may occupy.
The Emperor of Wellington is Sovereign of the order, and formally inducts members into the order. As of August 2019, one person has been appointed to the Order of Wellington. Appointees are granted with insignia and receive the right to bear armorial bearings.
Grades
The Emperor of Wellington, as the fount of honor, is at the head of the Order of Wellington as its Sovereign. Each level has its own post-nominals, which members are entitled to use depending on their rank. Members who are Commander, Grand Commander, and The Grand Commander of the Order of Wellington, may bear the title "Sir" or "Lady".
Insignia
The ribbon is red with two orange stripes on the left and right of the center. All of the colors are the same as those on the national flag of the Empire of Wellington.
