The Romanian State is an independent state, but is commonly known as a micronation.
History
The idea of creation of independent democratic monarchial state in Romania existed since 1976 when fourteen Bucharest residents started secret meetings. On 1989 after the death of Causescu and end of communism in Romania, the people in the meetings created the Romanian State, an independent country but commonly known as a micronation. After the death of Carol Cosovei, the first monarch of the Romanian State, the new monarch Nikolai I modernized the institutions and the government.
