The Republic of Evor, (Serbian: Република Евор, Romanised as Republika Evor), is an unrecognised micronation neighbouring the nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] It has a population of 54, and a total area count of 3.40km². Evor mainly consists of 3 regions: Северно место (lit. "North Place"), Земља Јужног мора (lit. "South Sea Land"), and Велика територија (lit. "Great Territories".) The micronation is consisted of many patches[2] of land throughout the Bosnian Regions. The largest region (Велика територија), has the largest concentration of citizens, 39. It was founded by the First Minister Dominik Aleksandr Volkov in 2009. The land that is now Evor has, and will continue to be primarily inhibited by various groups of migrants. They came to the territories that will become Evor in roughly 2007, and declared independence in 2009 under the First Evorian Ministerial Act of Independence of Territories in the First Committee of Government.[3] A large portion of the citizens come from Russian Descent, primarily from Moscow,[4] St. Petersburg,[5] and a family of 6 from Vladivostok.[6] Further migrants also come from Belarus, Ukraine, and other Slavic Regions.

Government

The first government for the Republic was determined by the First Minister to be appointed to the Committee of Government in each election effect from 2009-2011 [3])

Currently, the nation's government is appointed by Regional Elections. 10 representatives from the 3 regions of Северно место, Земља Јужног мора and Велика територија. In the regional election, the 3 parties of Evor battle for the number of representatives in each region. The current 3 political parties in Evor are:

  1. Progressive Front - 15 out of 30 seats in Parliament, Majority.
  2. Independence and Resistance Party - 8 out of 30 seats in Parliament, Main Opposition.
  3. Conservative Socialist Reform Party - 7 out of 30 seats in Parliament, Opposition.

The 2 chambers of parliament are modelled from the French Republic's,[7] with a National Assembly and Senate. The party chooses 1 regional representative from their party to become member of the Senate, which scrutinises, examines, and allows/rejects bills proposed by the National Assembly. The leader of the majority party becomes First Minister.

The current First Minister is Dominik Popov, son of the 3rd Accredited Founding Fathers of the Republic, Simon Popov.
