Velaria, officially known as the Republic of Velaria, is a micronation claiming sovereignty over a small plot of land in Hong Kong. The micronation has not received recognition from any official countries of the United Nations. It was founded by Hobnob Spencer.
History
Establishment (early 2024)
Velaria was first idealised in 2022, the time Hobnob became interested in Micronationalism and watched Kaptein Liam, and he made three of them that failed. One day, while Hobnob talked to William from Kamore, he asked for name ideas and William gave him a few but one that stood out was Velaria. And thus it was born. It was founded as a One-Party Military Dictatorship with Hobnob as Großinquisitor.
Government
Velaria is a One-Party Military Dictatorship with Hobnob in charge, and he may allow and disallow anything he pleases or does not.
