Republic of Salem
The Republic of Salem, also known as just Salem, was a micronation founded on 8 February 2022 after becoming a vassal of The Republic of Socaland. It was located in North America, with its 1st and only president being Z, the President of The Republic of Socaland. Its only land boarder consists of the United States of America.
History
Founding
On 8 February 2022, The Imperial Kingdom of Salem signed an agreement stating Zane F. C. would become the new king of Salem for 2 months. The day of the signing, the country was renamed to The Republic of Salem, and became a dictatorship. Shockingly, this wasn't the drive for independence.
Rebellion
On 12 February 2022, The Republic of Socaland recognized Czechoslovakia, which in turn violated the Erkunung Convention, and because of this, The Republic of Salem declared independence from The Republic of Socaland, and become the Imperial Kingdom of Salem once again.
