The Republic of Rhondron (Norwegian: Rhodronrepublikken) was a micronation. The republic was established on April 4, 2020, and declared independence from the Federation of Farlands on March 22, 2020. The nation was composed of several territories scattered around the local islands and untouched mainland; Nyland, Nygaard, Alebekken, Speiderland, Tordenskjold's Land and Colony Seafaire.
Etymology
The capital being rich in the Rhododendron flower, combined with a coincidental attempt at creating a new language in which peninsulas and islands, common in the territory, had gotten the names Rho and Dron respectively. This led to the name Rhodron.
Geography
The geography of the nation is mostly forest and with some lakes. Within the republic there was a peninsula - Rho - as it was mostly untouched, it contained most of the territories. The highest peak of Rhondron is Fløresteinenn at 81 meters above sea level and the largest body of water Langedlsvannet in Norwegian but named Vagtnetvannet in Rhodronic, which is the national language.
Economy
The economy of Rhondron is mostly dependant on agriculture and fishing. Colony Seafaire supplies most of the agriculture, agriculture was introduced in the capital but failed. All of the territories have multiple large bodies of water, making fishing a reliable industry.
Government
The government was a de-facto dictatorial republic, and most of its executive power laid in the hands of the Premier, his chosen deputy, and the Council of State. The leaders of this republic were Premier Wessel and Vice Premier Chris.
End of Rhodron
On an unspecified date, presumably in October 2020 the online platform on which the state is assumed to have been heavily reliant on, went inactive and on 19 October it was discovered that the Premier had not anymore an account on said platform. This was discovered by the Vice Premier, a fellow micronational-secessionist who took it upon the Council of State of another micronation to discuss what to do. As the Premier had not announced for his departure, nor any specific future for Rhodron; its government was merged on 20 October under the wing of the other state whereunder it remained as the Protectorate of Alesaker.
