Republic of Hema

The Republic of Hema is a micronation located in the United States declared on 2 January 2021, it is a dictatorship and is ruled by Prime Minister Josef Baumann. Who is Head of State and absolute ruler of the country. The Republic is technically isolationist where it does not have any established relations with other nations. The point of freedom is virtue, and the point of virtue is happiness.

The Hemans do not push for unrealistic numbers but they do have a physical claim (which is, unfortunately a bedroom, but the first land claim is a living room temporarily) thus the territory is about 800 square feet, which meets the requirements of the Montevideo Convention. (1933) although, a nation, new or old, does not need to be recognized to be declared indepedent.

Origins and Etymology

The Republic of Hema is a micronation located in the Midwestern United States led by Josef Baumann, as a successor state to his former short lived Republics. The name "Hema" came from the Hawaiian translation: Land of the Southeast.

Geography

The climate of Hema in the winter is very cold and cloudy, the summer is very humid, Fall is before winter thus making it pretty cold as well, and Spring is a colorful and mild weather.
