The Province of Ptolmus is a province of the Micronational Empire of Thebes in Lake Gaston. Ptolmus is the second newest and third smallest province of Thebes.
Etymology
Ptolmus is named after Ptolemy, an influential Greek author.
History
Ptolmus was first annexed as a territory in December, 2019. It remained a territory until January 19, 2020, when the consuls voted to incorporate it as a province. A little over a week later, Khylen Keller was appointed the governor of the province. For much of its existance, Ptolmus had a population of one, but a population boom began after Brady Reemsnyder replaced Keller as governor. The population of Ptolmus grew to three people.
Politics and Government
Similar to most other provinces, Ptolmus is governed by a governor appointed by the king.

Geography and Climate
Ptolmus is located in a temperate forest region. The dominant wildlife in Ptolmus are turtles and various species of birds. Ptolmus is located inside a cove in Lake Gaston, in land claimed by the United States as part of Virginia.
