The President of the Privy Council of Albia is the professional head of the Privy Council of Albia as well as one of the nine Albian Great Officers of State.
History
The President of the Privy Council of Albia is the oldest office of all the Great Officers of State in the Kingdom of Albia. The office was founded on 12 June 2022 by Luke I of Albia. It was then officiated as a title after the ratification of the Constitution of Albia.
Role
The role of the President of the Privy Council includes:
- Chairing the Privy Council of Albia
- Advising the Monarch on Usage of their Powers
- Nominating Citizens for Membership in the Privy Council
As well as this the President has some ceremonial duties as a Great Officer of State.
Appointment
The President may be nominated by the Privy Council directly but the appointment of the President is made by the monarch of Albia.
