Portola is the capital city of the Commonwealth of Juniperia, it is located in the county of Northwood. Portola was established in 2022 as a Setaran city but was made capital as a result of reforms passed by Sean Villevoiche and the Parliament of Juniperia.

Name

Portola is named after Gaspar de Portola, first Governor/Viceroy of New Spain, a Spanish colony in North America. Portola accompanied Junipero Serra in his travels in California.

History

Portola was originally a village within Irvine, California but was eventually settled by Westavians after the Battle of Settlers. It was established as a Setaran commune but became the capital of Juniperia, succeeding Auran.

Climate and Geography

Portola is located in Settlers Park in Irvine and thus has a flag geography, it has a soccer field, playground and building. Portola frequently experiences dew in the morning and rain and thunder in the later hours and months.

Culture

Portola is a frequent meeting place for Juniperians and the Government. It is frequently visited after school.
