The Province of Ptolmus is a province of the Micronational Empire of Thebes in Lake Gaston. Ptolmus is the second newest and the third smallest province of Thebes.
Etymology
Osirgyz is a corruption of the name Osiris, which was the original name for the province.
History
Osirgyz was for much of its existance private property under the United States of America, claimed by the US state of Ohio. However, during the Garf Conflict, the land that would become Osirgyz was briefly part of the Garf Nation, annexed on July 3, 2019. Two days later, however, the land was taken by the nation of Sparta, which declared its independence from Garf. The land was the sole land holdings of Sparta, which outlived the Garf Nation by several months. On October 15, however, Sparta was peacefully annexed by Thebes, and the land was incorporated as the Sparta Territory. On November 26, the consuls voted on whether it should be a province, which passed. The province was originally going to be named Osiris, but the name was recorded as Osirgyz, which remains the name to this day.
Politics and Government
Similar to most other provinces, Osirgyz is governed by a governor elected by the people of the province. However, for most of its existance, the governors, including the current one, have been appointed by the king.

Geography and Climate
Osirgyz is located in a temperate plains region. The dominant wildlife in Osirgyz is squirrels and various species of birds. Ptolmus is located inside a cove in Lake Gaston, in land claimed by the United States as part of Ohio. Osirgyz is the Northernmost and coldest Province of Thebes, as well as the second largest.
