Orders, decorations, and medals of Egeria

The Orders, decorations, and medals of Egeria comprise a complex system by which citizens and foreigners are honoured by the country's sovereign for actions or deeds that leads to excellent contribution to the Archduchy of Egeria. The highest achievable order is Archducal Order of the Red Eagle, which is awarded for outstanding services to the Egeria Archduchy. First Decoration was instituted on 1 August 2021 by archducal decree signed by Archduke Peter S. Malček-Ohřevský.
- Honours are used to recognise merit in terms of achievement and service;
- Decorations tend to be used to recognise specific deeds;
- Medals are used to recognise service on a particular operation or in a specific theatre, long or valuable service, and good conduct and are often issued to commemorate special events.
