The Nollandish general election, 2015 was held from 7–11 December 2015. All 7 seats in the Nollandish Imperial Parliament were up for election. However, the distribution of votes in the wake of election was such that only 6 of the 7 seats could be properly distributed. Consequently, the Tsar of Nolland used his constitutional powers to organise and extraordinary tie-breaker election for that one seat. Unfortunately, that tie-breaker election also resulted in a mathematically unbreakable tie in the second round of counting. The seat was thus awarded to United Nolland using a random tie-breaking procedure. In effect, the Nollandish government was decided by a coin toss, generating great controversy.
