Footnotes
  1. The Shaczec originally appeared as a Lambda with straight lines, introducers of the symbol were unaware of the same similar symbol being a Greek letter. Through history, the Shaczec has been adapted to also be represented by the Greek letter Lambda for this reason.
  2. In modern times, the Shaczec has appeared often carved into trees or natural landmarks by Shahawkian soldiers to signify Shahawkia's presence and claim to the area.
  3. Many Shahawkians have referred to the Cooper's Hawk as the "Shahawk" alternatively due to it being the national animal, and fitting the name.
  4. Liberty is often represented in Shahawkian culture as the color blue.
