The National Order of Kosmark is a state decoration bestowed by the President of the Republic of Kosmark. Founded on 20 December 2013 by King Owen.
History
The National Order of Kosmark was founded on 20 December 2013 by a letters patent from King Owen. Since then, tradition and eligibility for the title has been conferred by a position in the Cabinet of Kosmark. Currently out of the recipients, a large majority sit on the Cabinet and therefore are the most influential party who hold the award. When the Honours Act 2014 was passed, the National Order of Kosmark increased from 3 classes to 5.
The National Order of Kosmark still continues to be awarded in Presidential Kosmark due to its more patriotic than monarchist nature. However the names of the classes were altered to reflect this change and the class of Knight Commander was removed.

There are three grades in the National Order of Kosmark - only holders of the first two may legally be referred to as knights.
