National Monument of Olov, also known as the Olovian National Monument, is an eighteen-meter high (59,2 ft tall) flagpole structure and a known landmark of Olov, which is situated in capital city Van Engels, Olov. The structure is known as the sixth tallest structure in the world by micronation.
The structure symbolizes Olovian nationalism and commemorates the reformation of the Republic of Olov in 2021. The construction begun on October 13, 2021, and was inaugurated on January 12, 2022. The material used in the structure was a stack of telescopic poles.
History
Early construction
Following the establishment of Olov, the Olovian statesman and president Saleh A.H was heavily inspired to construct a prominent structure, he stated that it would also be beneficial for tourist attraction use within Olov, this led to the construction of the structure which begun on October 13, 2021, the structure was constructed using telescopic poles.
Inauguration
The structure was fully completed and inaugurated on January 12, 2022, with a height of 59.2 feet.
